London Buses route 339

London Buses route 339 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Shadwell and Leytonstone stations, it is operated by Tower Transit.
==History==
Route 339 commenced operating on 28 October 2000 between Shadwell station and Fish Island via Stepney, Mile End and Old Ford. It was initially operated by First London with Marshall Capital bodied Dennis Darts.
Upon being re-tendered, the route was retained by First London with new contracts commencing in October 2005〔(Bus tender results Route 339 ) Transport for London 31 January 2005〕 and October 2010.〔(Bus tender results Route 339 ) Transport for London 8 March 2010〕
On 10 September 2011, the route was extended from Fish Island to Stratford City bus station to coincide with the opening of Westfield Stratford City.〔(Going to Westfield Stratford City ) Transport for London 12 September 2011〕
